What I love most about CERTFROMEXE is that it helps me verify the security of the program file. CERTFROMEXE also allows me to load the program file in several ways, including by using drag & drop, the command line, or file-open dialog. I could select the decoded data using my mouse and then copy it to my clipboard with the right-click context menu. ![]() Once it extracts the certificate, it takes care of decoding its various components, including the certificate text, the metadata fields, and the issuer and subject fields. The software is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. I recently tried out CERTFROMEXE, a freeware program that enables me to extract X.509 Certificates from any signed EXE file quickly and easily.
